Charles Nii Armah Mensah, a Ghanaian dancehall artist and entrepreneur Shatta Wale has formalized a partnership with the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) to expand his ride-hailing service, Shaxi, which is aimed at creating more job opportunities for Ghanaian youth.
The agreement was signed on May 30, 2025, at the YEA headquarters in Accra, where Shatta Wale arrived in a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, accompanied by a convoy of luxury vehicles.
The YEA CEO Malik Basintale has pledged to support the initiative by providing 150 electric vehicles from a private donor to the Shaxi fleet. He also expressed interest in serving as a brand ambassador for Shaxi at no cost.
This collaboration aims to leverage Shaxi's platform to create sustainable employment for young people across the country.

Shaxi was launched in December 2021 by Shatta Wale. He described the service as a movement designed to empower the youth, create jobs, and promote digital innovation within Ghana's transport sector.
